Glossary of our site

• Cabernet-Franc

• Cabernet-Sauvignon

This grape variety originated in the Bordeaux region and is now the most common variety in the world. Cabernet-sauvignon is still a traditional variety in Médoc. Its berries are small with a thick skin. It is planted all over the world where vineyards get over 1,500 hours of sunshine a year. When yield is kept in control, winemakers obtain a great wine that is delicate, tannic, spicy and that can, and must, age.
