• Taille (Pruning)

Pruning eliminates all the wood of the current year while keeping one or several good branches, properly located, in order to leave enough buds (or eyes) where the growth of fruit will originate. The most common pruning methods in the Bordeaux region are the double Guyot pruning and the simple Guyot pruning.
